In the plant world there are a lot of tests and awards that are given to name the "best of the best" for each type of plant, whether it's hydrangeas, vegetables, new plants, etc. In the rose world, the Biltmore International Rose Trials is the Grand Poobah of trials. If you've never been to Biltmore in North Carolina, you absolutely need to go - and not just for the roses! That said...back to the roses. These trials go on for 2 years and rose experts from around the world critique each entrant four times a year to judge the best of the best. Well...we can announce that Screaming Neon Red™ swept this year's awards with 4 wins:
